This blog is named in honor of Franz Kunstler, the last veteran of the Austro-Hungarian Empire who recently passed away at age 107. It is dedicated to the memory of all who served in the First World War, especially those who fought for Austria-Hungary. This blog will also serve as a meeting place for anyone interested in First World War re-enacting in an Austro-Hungarian unit in the Great War Historical Society. Viribus Unitis!
